2 Your Beliefs on Money
What are money beliefs?
Beliefs influence behaviour
As you become increasingly aware of your money beliefs, you'll start to notice the money beliefs of those around you.
As this happens, your money belief awareness grows further and you notice how money beliefs powerfully influence money behaviour.
An example of how beliefs influence behaviour
Imagine you have a money belief that only 'ruthless and greedy' people get ahead financially. (If this is your belief, this is what you will notice and observe – you tend to notice the things that support your beliefs.)
One day, tired of being generous and poor, you decide that maybe 'kind and generous' people can get ahead financially too.
You still believe ruthless and greedy people get ahead. However, you are now open to the possibility that kind and generous people can get ahead financially too.
